Celebrating Successes Without Resting on Our Laurels

As a family of companies, The Johnson Group has a lot to be proud of this quarter. In this issue of The Spotlight, you’ll read about the impressive accomplishments of JDA’s Self-Storage team reaching 50 store openings, more than any other private developer in the country; you’ll learn about ACA’s exponential growth, reaching more than $3 billion in assets under management; and you’ll hear that this spring OTO celebrated its 15-year anniversary.

These successes are the direct result of the hard work and initiative of each individual within The Johnson Group. These businesses started small – from an idea – and grew into successful companies because of each team’s ability to think entrepreneurially, to act with urgency, and to collaborate with one another to find the best path forward.

These are exciting milestones and could not have been achieved without each and every one of you.

Celebrating our successes is important, but we could not have achieved as much as we have by resting on our laurels. We’ve learned that we should always exercise humility and recognize that we can be better. My father reminds me that we must constantly look toward the horizon and challenge ourselves to aim for our next – and higher – goals. I know the best is yet to come, and I look forward to seeing the even greater things that we can achieve together in the future.
