While construction may have slowed for some developers in the wake of COVID-19, JDA and OTO have continued to strategically move forward on construction projects nationwide.
OTO continues to develop new hotels in high barrier-to-entry markets, while also seeking opportunities to purchase and repurpose existing hotel properties. In those cases, OTO applies an aesthetic refresh to a well-located property, while adding value through its hotel operations expertise.
JDA is also pursuing a number of new development projects, with many currently underway and others forming a healthy pipeline of upcoming activity. The company now has seven regional offices to support its expanding geographic footprint, and we are excited to renew our investment in the multifamily sector and grow our asset management capabilities company-wide.

OTO recently completed the renovation and rebranding of this oceanfront Hampton Inn in Key West, FL.
This Fairfield Inn and Suites in Marathon, FL was fully renovated and expanded to include 161 guest rooms, an on-site restaurant, and a 10-slip marina and building.
Hyatt Place National Harbor opened in August 2020, prominently located at the entrance to Waterfront Street and hosting Potomac River views from over 55 percent of its rooms.
OTO acquired this beachfront Holiday Inn Resort in Wrightsville Beach in December 2020 and will be refreshing the property over the course of the next 12-18 months.
Rendered here at sunset, the 220-room AC Hotel in Bethesda, MD will be four blocks south of the future headquarters of Marriott.
Another recent acquisition, this future Hilton Garden Inn sits beachfront in St. Pete Beach and will re-open in Spring 2021.

In addition to developing new hotels, OTO’s operating expertise continues to be leveraged by third-party owners, most recently attracting the business of Host, the largest publicly traded lodging REIT. In early 2021, Host picked OTO to manage their first AC, that property having just opened in Scottsdale, AZ.
