Team members participate in the Annual Kickball Tournament
Each summer, The Johnson Group hosts a kickball tournament, sparking a friendly competition between Johnson Development, OTO Development, and American Credit Acceptance. Hosted at the YMCA of Greater Spartanburg, each team hopes to leave with the victory, and over the past several years, each company has come away a winner. This year, in a highly contested tournament that included single teams from JDA and OTO and two teams from ACA, Team JDA took home the W!
American Credit Acceptance launches Wellness initiatives
At American Credit Acceptance, the newly formed Wellness Committee, made up of associates across departments, is working hard to increase awareness of wellness throughout the company.
In June, ACA offered a free Cyclebar class for associates to expose them to options for physical wellness. This month, the committee has launched a healthy cookbook challenge through Vitality, which will gather healthy recipes from associates that can be shared across the company.
The committee is also working diligently to provide healthier options for events, breakrooms, and sponsored lunches. Whatever the platform, the Wellness Committee is committed to providing resources and opportunities related to wellness.
The Learning and Development Team at ACA is also making strides to reduce environmental impact. In July, they kicked off their Go Green initiative by removing plastic water bottles from their training rooms.
