Intern Opportunities Available:

Accounting

The primary focus will be assisting the team with all accounting matters associated with the company across divisions.  The intern will gain exposure in financial reporting, tax depreciation, bank reconciliations, and equity basis calculations, in addition to gaining knowledge of accounting principles.

Asset Management

The primary focus will be tracking and optimizing performance of Self-Storage assets.  The Intern will gain exposure in analyzing supply and market specific competition as well as tracking financial and operational performance of the assets.

Development

The primary focus will be on oversight of the building development process by assisting with the design, permitting and construction supervision of projects.

Finance

The primary focus will be assisting the team with all finance matters associated with the company across divisions.  The Intern will gain exposure to monthly and annual reporting, assessing viability of projects, proforma analysis and market research for new development opportunities.

Real Estate 

The primary focus will be on real estate acquisition by assisting with underwriting and conducting market research.  The Intern will gain exposure to rate analysis, zoning, supply and other characteristics that make up a full market analysis.

This intern will support the Marketing department with projects related to social media, graphic design, content development, SEO and digital advertising strategies.

Information Technology

The Information Technology Intern will support the team with technology infrastructure and systems in new hotels within the portfolio.

Interior Design / Procurement Intern

Assist with both the design and procurement process, including sourcing materials and furnishings, coordinating with vendors, supporting design presentations, and helping manage orders for interior design projects.

Real Estate

The primary focus will be on real estate acquisition by assisting with underwriting and conducting market research.  The Intern will gain exposure to rate analysis, zoning, supply and other characteristics that make up a full market analysis.

Revenue Management  

The Revenue Management Intern will gain exposure to monthly and annual reporting, evaluating strategies related to pricing and restrictions, demand analysis and positioning compared to competitor hotels.

ACA is an indirect automotive lending institution that provides financing to emerging credit consumers and has an array of internship opportunities available. From strategy analytics and information technology to accounting and finance, you’ll find a wide range of key business functions that support a rapidly growing company. Intern Opportunities Available:

Information Security

The internships in ISEC are opportunities to be involved in all aspects of an effective cybersecurity program.  As a member of the ISEC team, you’ll acquire practical knowledge and experience in the areas of access management, program governance, risk acceptance, compliance, security operations, and incident response.  ISEC interns will be participants in the ideation, creation, and execution of continuous improvement initiatives for the department.  You’ll be a part of strategic and tactical meetings that involve small, large, and cross-functional teams where you will learn how the information security functions interact with and impact other areas of the company.  As an ISEC intern, you will learn the importance of developing both soft skills and technical skills in the field of Information Security.

Analytics 

The Analytics team drives the strategies that determine what loans we approve and under what terms, with the goal of optimizing the number and profitability of the loans that we originate. In addition, the team partners with operations and support teams across the business to identify opportunities to improve business outcomes, somewhat like an internal strategy consulting arm. The intern in Analytics will use logic, problem solving, and analysis of data to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to improve loan growth, profitability, and overall business outcomes.

Originations

Interns in our organization primarily concentrate on addressing operational challenges by conducting root cause analysis, data analysis, and process evaluations. They collaborate with team members to develop and implement enhancements aimed at boosting profitability within the originations area. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in identifying and solving complex issues while contributing to strategic improvements.

Information Technology

Our IT internships offer immersive, hands-on experiences across a variety of disciplines including software development, infrastructure, networking, service desk operations, and data engineering. Interns work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to real-world challenges and contributing to meaningful projects. Whether participating in team strategy sessions or collaborating one-on-one with mentors, interns develop valuable skills and insights into the diverse and dynamic world of IT.

Financial Systems

As a Financial Systems intern within the CFO organization, this role will offer hands-on experience with various finance systems and the opportunity to collaborate on impactful projects and processes.  Experience could include supporting our accounting team with report development, troubleshooting an issue, etc.  Other opportunities could include partnering with our Internal Audit and Compliance teams to support their system platform, as well as working with our Vendor Management and Cash teams.

Servicing  

Servicing internships provide opportunities to lead high-value efforts to achieve business gains while improving the customer and agent experience in various aspects of the account servicing (collections and loss mitigation) cycle.  This role requires both independent leadership and cross-functional collaboration to make ACA’s servicing processes more efficient and effective.  As an intern imbedded in a team, you will receive hands-on experience driving improved outcomes through participation in strategy meetings, evaluation of processes, identification of solutions, and working with and through leaders to recommend enhancements while balancing risks and costs.
